My Future Desires

Now, I am a student in Sanata Dharma University and I’m registered in PBI study program. Although I am still in second semester, I have some dreams. I have some desires when I graduate from this program study. I willing to become a worker in a big cruise, become an English teacher in senior high school, and build a simple home for my family and me.
I realize that become an English teacher or work in a big cruise are not as simple as I think. I know that I do need improve my English capability deeper and seriously. I need more practice to develop my capability. It is not simple process, but it takes long time to make my English well. It’s like a journey to somewhere. Therefore, I chose PBI as my choice in studying. Hopefully, this program study is helpful me to reach my dreams.
In my priority, become a worker in a big cruise is first thing that I want to do after I graduate from PBI. I want to experience work in a cruise. May be after 2 or 3 years, I am going to become an English teacher and earn enough money to build my own home for my family and me. I believe that I can actualize my desires with my high spirit and be a persistent girl.

My New Family

I live in Kartasura – a small city in Central Java. In there I join in youth commission in my church. It is called Bahtera. Every Saturday evening we always gather in our church to have religion service (in Indonesian we recognize with ‘Persekutuan’ or ‘mudika’). It is hold for about 2 hours, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. After my religion service finish, my friends and I always spend our time to share everything we want to share or just kidding with some jokes. People usually think that what we do is nothing. Actually, it’s very important for us to make our friendship closer and closer. Even from this activity that unimportant for others, we can get our new family in Bahtera. Unrealized, we have become a new family in Jesus’ Kingdom.
Frankly, Saturday is one of three days I like the most in a week. They are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Why? It’s caused only in these days I can meet my lovely friends and laugh with them. As you know that in Jogja I live in my boarding house, meet and laugh with them is valuable moment for me.
Every Sunday, i have the same activity -- meet and gather with my friends -- but i have to teach sunday school first. I always leave my home at 6.40 a.m. and teach sunday school until 8.30 a.m. After it, my friends and I always meet in Pastori (our base camp) for enjoy our time. Beside talking or sharing, we also sing and playing guitar together. Can you imagine how happy I am??? Usually, we gather until lunch time about 12 p.m. or 12.30 p.m.
Some people think that we just wasting the time, but we are love this moment.

Easter Celebration

Hi friends.
In this occasion, I want to talk about my preparation for the Easter celebration of children comission in my church. This was really exciting.
Preparation for the Easter celebration was about one week before the D-day. We prepared a short drama about the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus and praise music practice. Everyone was so busy with their respective duties. I helped to prepare the drama. Actually, I became the worship leader in this event, but my partner should be a keyboardist. Therefore, I must be willing to exchange duties with my friends.
During one week of practice, we tried hard to memorize every scene very well. Initially, it was quite difficult to memorize and performed the play well. However,we all could be resolved because our desire to show best. Finally on the last day of training, we were all getting excited to show our drama and hope everything was good. I was very pleased with these my activities.
On Friday afternoon, we all made the decorations and all properties used for drama. There were some people who made the garden of Gethsemane, the cross, crown of thorns and caves. Everything done with joy.
On D-day - Sunday, we all managed to appear and perform plays that well (we think). That's one story about my Easter celebration this year. Wasn't it interesting? What about your Easter celebration?

Hi guys, it's still about describing. Now, I want to describe a process of making food and beverage. It is a process of making fried rice and an ice tea.I think it will be very tasty.

Firstly, let me describe how to make fried rice. The first step is we must prepare the ingredients. They are 2 garlic cloves, 2 onion cloves, a little salt, some chilies, cooking oil and an egg. Then, mash the onion, garlic, salt, and chilies before we saute the ingredients. We can put the rice into the frying pan after the ingredients cooked. You had better stir it for a while. While you are waiting, you can prepare a plate to place your fried rice. After 2 or 3 minutes later, you can put your fried rice in a plate because it's ripe. To make your fried rice more delicious, you can add a fried egg. It's very easy to fry an egg. You must heat the oil and put an egg into a frying pan. Wait for a minutes until the egg is cooked then put it in the fried rice's plate.

Secondly, I am going to tell you the process of making an ice tea. It's very common, right? However, I would still tell you. Please, prepare a glass with enough hot water. We need hot water to dissolve glass, stir them. Then, you add the ice cube into the glass. After this step finish, you can taste your ice tea.

Finally, you can taste your fried rice and your ice tea. I'm sure that it will be great breakfast. You can try these at your home.

My Adorable Lecturer

Hi guys!!! In this occasion i will describe one of my favorite lecturers in our campus. However, I won't tell her/his name.Your task is to guess the name. I'm sure that it's easy to you.

I have a favorite lecturer in PBI. This lecturer has a nice face. There are few freckles in the lecturer's face. However, it doesn't matter because this lecturer has cute smile and I adore it. This lecturer has a pug nose, round eyes, and dimples in lecturer's cheeks. This lecturer has long black hair ( It shows that this lecturer is a woman). Have you had a answer who the lecturer is??? If you haven't any idea, let me describe his/her more detail.

She has medium height and weight. She is so beautiful and charming. Although she has black complexion, she always look so attractive. She always well-dressed and look very confidence. You will never find her in scruffy-dresses. She usually wears a V-neck shirt and black trousers. She also teaches very clearly so her student always understand what the materials are.

In brief, she is a very very familiar with you. She's ever taught us in last semester. Well, my description is enough. Please try to guess who is she.

My Favourite Place in This Campus


It is my second description article. Last time, I've described my lovely thing, NOKIA 3230. It's my mobile phone. Now, I will describe one place in our campus. Would you like to guess it, guys???

This place is a room which was built in our library. It's placed in second floor. If you enter this room you can see "Ruang Baca". Ruang Baca on the other side of this room. Many students visit this room to complete their need. Have you understood which place is this? If you haven't known this place, i will describe more.

This room has fresh air because it is completed by air conditioners. You can imagine how refreshing this room is. When you enter this room, your skin will feel the cold of the air conditioners. Many people also agreed with me that this room very cozy to relax. However, the main aim of this room is not to relaxing place. The purpose of this room is provide the need of students and help them to do their assignment.

This room has 54 units of computer. Every computer is linked with internet equipment. All of them are arranged near the wall like letter U. There are 16 units in left and right sides and the rest are in the between of these sides. Many students use them to do their assignment or just to browsing or to download something.

This is a clean-tidy room. You can't see garbage or dust in every inch where you stand. There are 3 dust bin which placed in this room to hold the visitor's garbage. Beside, the cleaning services always clean this room regularly. So, that's why this room always clean and tidy.

My Lovely Mobile Phone

In this time, i want to introduce something that i love much. It is my mobile phone. Its name's NOKIA 3230.I bought it when I successfully pass my second semester in my senior high school. I'm sure that you have known about NOKIA 3230. Is there anybody haven't seen it before? (I'm not sure!)
NOKIA 3230 which I owned is black-silver-colored phone. It has a menu button, 12 keypads, a joystick, and 4 other buttons. It has a big enough screen which has rectangular-shaped. Upon the screen is written 'NOKIA' as a brand name. You can see this picture.
When you turn it to the back side, you can see a 1,3 megapixel camera. I often capture an interesting object use this device. After I capture an object I can see the result. Actually, my mobile phone has medium quality in shooting. Maybe mine is not good enough to shoot, but i love it very much.
When I bought it -- almost 3 years ago -- I interested with its MP3 player. At the time, I was looking for a new mobile phone that's completed by music player. NOKIA 3230 has. It has very clear and vivid sound. I always enjoy when its MP3 player on.
I think it is enough description to you to know my mobile phone well. If my mobile phone assumed as a ice cream, I'm sure that it has sweet taste and nice smell. If you want to buy a new mobile phone, may I suggest you to choose a same type of mine. Thank you,

About Me

First, let me introduce myself. My name's Linda ELisa Darmaningrum. Everybody calls me Linda. However, one of my friends calls me Gabriel. It's my baptism name. According to my parents, Linda has a beautiful mean. It means "a shiny candle". Maybe they want me can shone around of me. I was born at Karanganyar, January 5, 1991.

I am an ordinary-looking girl. I'm a simple one who love wear causal-dressed. I have slim body, long-black-straight hair, and dark complexion. There are some freckles in my cheeks. Addition, i just 160 cm tall. So, that's why i call myself as an ordinary person. However, my parents always say "You're our beautiful daughter."

I love badminton, watching India movies, and listening musics. They are my hobbies. Badminton can cheer me up from sadness. Watching India movies make me more relax. Listening music also entertains me whenever i sad, bored, upset or confuse. Until now, these worked.

Now, I'm still struggling with other students in PBI. I have big desire to become an English teacher someday. I always dream of this and pray to God to realize it. Hopefully, I can teach in my ex-senior high school and develop English in there. Wish me luck, guys...
